How art and religion can intersect. The Sacred and the Profane is an example here and so is a different interpretation of something religious.

 For the artwork above of Jesus and Mary, to me it’s like they’re symbolizing the evil behind ‘purity’, he turns the icons of innocence, purity and good into the complete opposite.
